Culinary delights in our 5 star hotel

When just by looking at your food you start to feel those taste bud sensations, then we know we are doing it right! This experience is due to the creative minds working in the background, which show a preference to regional quality food. Our Head Chef, Ralf Lauzening refused to be influenced by the globalisation within the cooking arena and kept true to his style of cooking on the home front, why search elsewhere for great products when they are on your doorstep…

In tune with nature, Ralf Lauzening uses the beauty of his surroundings to inspire him, with original natural products from the region. These are the basis for his authentic way of cooking. The suppliers he deals with are just as proud of their aromatic fresh products, as he is. Using these ingredients he creates with his team culinary highlights for connoisseurs, even during a health cure. It is the attention he gives to detail of the delicacies being served, which guarantee an indulging experience every time. Partnered by a perfect wine and an excellent service team, led by Restaurant Manager Birk Zogbaum, they will all make this a dining experience to remember.

 

Opening hours of the restaurant:

Breakfast 7.00 - 10.30 a.m.

Lunch (Schroth Cure & à la carte) noon - 1.30 p.m.

Gourmet half-board & à la carte 6.00 - 8.30 p.m.

For our gourmet half-board guests and our Schroth cure guests, seats in the restaurants are already planned – all other guests are kindly requested to reserve their table early.

Culinary delights during your stay

We can reserve a table for you in our restaurant so that you can try out our creative, excellent food. The gourmet half-board includes an extensive breakfast buffet and our gourmet dinner menu created by our Head Chef in the evening. From Mondays to Fridays you can choose from our 5-course gourmet menu. At the weekend, we spoil you with our cold and warm themed buffet on Saturdays and on Sundays our highlight – the gala dinner – awaits you. Now and again we will surprise you with our specials such as an “evening menu like in grandma’s day” or “steak delights“.

Taking the breakfast buffet in the Allgäu Sun

It is advisable to book our gourmet half-board in advance for € 45,- per person/night instead of paying € 55,- per person/night on arrival. In the case of cancellation during your stay, we will refund you € 35,- per person/night.

For children we have a charge of € 30,- per child/night.

Please inform us in advance if you suffer from allergies or food intolerances so that we can individually prepare something for you.

Of course we would also be pleased to welcome you at our restaurant if you are not a hotel guest - we are looking forward to welcoming you soon.
